TWELTH ANNIVERSARY KIRBY MORGAN UNITED STERLING GUANGZHOU DIVING SCHOOL STUDENT EXCELLENCE AWARDS 6TH JUNE 2025

The 2025 Kirby Morgan United Sterling Student Excellence Awards ceremony took place at the Guangzhou Diving School on 6th June for the twelfth year in a row.

Congratulations to Yang Zhenzhong for winning the ¥10,000 prize, Liu Kailun the ¥5,000 prize and Ma Kuanmeng the ¥2,000 prize. In his speech Colin Bosher again highlighted China's rapid advance in all aspects of subsea technology and which include the project to construct a deep-sea manned research laboratory operating at depths of up to 2,000 metres - "the Research Facility of Cold-seep Ecosystem".
